1 Cor. 3:12-15: If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver,
costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is,
because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire and the
fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built survivs, he
will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself
will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.
I began to imagine myself standing before the LORD and seeing all the wasted
years of my life burning up. I could not shake this terrible vision, and it
began to fill me with condemnation I could not shake. Then the voice of the
Spirit came to me: "You have another chance. And another. Look just behind you
- when you repented of your sin, you kept your foot on My path. Yes, the wasted
years will be as hay and stubble in the fire; but now you GO and focus on the
time you have been given to sow seed for My Kingdom. Remember that every soul
matterst to me - Muslim, Jehovah's Witness, Hindu, Buddhist - each matters.
Pray for them to find the Truth of My Gospel. Take down every wall of hatred
and judgment and go to seek and save the lost."
"Now [in these days of violence], if you have a purse, take it, and also a
bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one." (Luke 22:36)
"The days are evil - but purge your own heart and wash your hands. Be wise as a
serpent and gentle as a dove. Rebuke the enemy - walk in My authority. Do not
worry about what you will say, for I will give you the words. You are about to
walk through days of tribulation. I have told you ahead of time - in these days
you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer, for I have overcome the
world!"
