A Table in the Presence of My Enemies

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. (Psalm 23:4-5)

What does it mean, to prepare a table in the presence of our enemies? How does God do this, and why? What purpose would it serve to prepare a table in the presence of your enemies? Shouldn't we ask God to prepare a great army to vanquish them, and weapons to utterly destroy them?

Well, despite the fact that the leaders of Iran have made it quite clear that they want to utterly destroy Israel, it seems that Israelis are asking God to prepare a table in their presence; a table such as Yeshua prepared for His disciples on the night before He died - a table of pure LOVE. Please take a moment to watch the video below. I believe it will touch your heart as it did mine. The world would have us believe that the Jews are a vile race of people - and that is because the enemy despises the family of Almighty God, through whom the Redeemer of the world would come. In this little video - a message from Israelis to Iranians - we clearly see the heartbeat of God's family, even toward their enemies. Pray that this little video will take wings and speak to the many in Iran who do not hate, as their leaders hate. Amen.
